Portland & Multnomah

A beautiful, sunny Saturday spent in Portland

It may be strange that one of the highlights of the trip was donuts...
but the Chaffees will understand.

Hidden are the cocoa puff donut, oreo donut, blue raspberry donut, devils food, etc, etc.

I hate to say it, but this was GOOD. Voodoo Doughnuts- I will be dreaming of you until we meet again.

Other highlights:

Mt Hood

Pittock Mansion

Salvador Molly's (highly recommended if you have any respect, desire or tolerance for spice in your food). Plus their "dinner mints" are fireballs and lemonheads, so you have to love that!

Your bacon donut reminds me of the bacon chocolate I had recently...um, it was an experience. :-)

PS. How are you liking the Hunger Games series?? Thoroughly enjoyed it myself, tapping my fingers waiting for book 3.

And that picture at the top of the falls will be the only way I see what it looked like. Yep...I'm all about staying far away from the edge.

mmmmm donuts. I love love love people watching in portland. its one of the most amazing things EVER! So I think we are heading up to oregon in June then over to seattle and then spokane and cour d'lene. Have you been to BEND, or? if not my hubs fam lives there and you should meet us! So many fun hikes. and you should check out cour de lene and sandpoint while you live in the Northwest. Sandpoint is probably one of the most beautiful places I have EVER been and I LOVE it.
